Jack of All Trades PLAY BY PLAY Episode 8: One Wedding and an Execution

Hello I am the movie encyclopedia and if no one else will see it, I will.

Day 4 Part 2. Episode 8 Titled "One Wedding and an Execution."

The episode begins with Croque sneaking into his personal money/belongings stash only to find Napoleon inside there. He reveals that him and Josephine have been having some serious problems and that they will probably get a divorce. This means that Napoleon needs a new bride and after looking through countless women he finally chooses Emilia, much to her chagrin.
Jack's not comfortable with this idea and goes to Croque. Croque at first does the whole "Talk bad about my brother you die" bit but Jack says that if Napoleon dies and DOESN'T get a new wife that he will become the new Emperor of France. Croque likes this idea a lot and decides the best thing to do would be to team up with Jack and stop this wedding.
The first date goes splendid (sarcasm) as Napoleon proves to be a total uncouth womanizer. He puts down the ultimatum that if Emilia doesn't marry him that he will destroy England. She agrees but not if Jack has anything to say about. So what does he do?
Come dressed as Emilia's incredibly ugly mother and try and frighten Napoleon away. He tries everything he can from putting him in a pink suit to giving him bad flowers to playing bad music. But nothing seems to sway Napoleon so Croque and Jack figure their last ditch effort would be to throw a bachelor party and hope that things go so well that Napoleon will want to stay single and not get married.
Napoleon sleeps with two strippers, gets blasted and can barely function but he still shows up for the wedding on time. Croque has done all he can but Jack decides the best thing to do would to become the Dragoon and fight for Emilia. Napoleon and them, thinking fighting in a holy place is bad, take it outside and duke it out.
After some comedic fighting and back and forth, Napoleon's wife Josephine comes and demands he comes back. Napoleon agrees and the episode ends with Jack and Emilia sharing some champagne and saying how glad they were things didn't turn out the way they could've.

The Verdict:

Entertainment: 4.5

A pretty good episode and it's nice to see Croque doing good for once instead of always being he bad guy.
