Goodbye, Hermey. Whatever a dentist is, I hope someday you will be the greatest.

Hello I am the movie encyclopedia and if no one else will see it, I will.

Its the timeless classic. Everyone between 2-82 has seen this tv movie/special. The song is forever ingrained in our hearts and minds as a timeless Christmas song. Its the movie that introduced the misfit toys. It made Hermey a household name for elves. It had Burl Ives at his best and it remains as one of the best Christmas movies of all time. Its Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.

The story of Rudolph is a simple one and if youve ever heard the song you know the plot by heart. Rudolph is the son of one of Santa's reindeer. He is born with good genes and destined for greatness. There was one issue however: he has a glowing red nose! Because of this he is cast out and treated like an outsider but when Santa is in trouble, its Rudolph who saves the day!

Its a touching story with a great moral still to this day. If you havent seen it, please get out from under that rock and pick this one up. Ive seen it numerous times and at 18 I still think its a great film to watch. So please, if its Christmas, watch Rudolph.

MY VERDICT: OWN IT
