Look, Daddy. Teacher says, every time a bell rings an angel gets his wings.

Hello I am the movie encyclopedia and if no one else will see it, I will.

Well its that holiday season again and you know what that means: Christmas movies that are played on a 24 hour loop. In these loops they play classics like A Christmas Story, A Christmas Carol, all the stop motion animated ones and even new ones. But one movie has been a staple for most to all of my personal Christmas' and I know that it is for a lot of people. What is that movie? Why its Frank Capra's (in my opinion) masterpiece Its A Wonderful Life.

If you HAVE never heard of Its A Wonderful Life than you REALLY need to go out and buy it, or watch ABC Family and NBC continuously for enough time. The story is that of George Bailey, a man plagued with being deaf in one ear, but also responsible for saving the life of a few people, including his brother. One day though, after being turned down for a loan and crashing into a tree, he gets suicidal and stands on the edge of a bridge. Meanwhile in heaven angels hear his last desperate prayers and send Clarence, an angel, to show him how much of a great life that he has actually had and that he has NO reason to kill himself.

Its a beautiful story, its extremly touching and I usually fail to have a dry eye, even though I have seen it enough times Ive memorized almost the whole script. This is definetly Capra's finest and Jimmy Stewart is phenominal as George. Not only is it Capra's best but its also Stewarts best. There is NO bad acting in this entire movie.

Its a film that everyone needs to watch at least once every Christmas and if you havent seen it than you really need to. I leave you with the ending and one of the most famous lines in film history:

MY VERDICT: OWN IT
